Maurer In Huntington (Cold Spring)

I am new to the  group but have been working on my family genealogy for 20 years.
I have run into a wall regarding my 2nd great grandfather Fredrich Maurer (1820-1896).  He was a shoe/boot maker and moved from NYC to Cold spring between 1870 and 1880. He apparently had three wives.
First was a Maria Sanger  (1823-1860) she had three children Margaret Clementine (my direct), Samuel  and Phillip. Death date is based on birth of Charles in 1863
Second is unknown who had Charles (1863-1941)
Third is a Margaret (1842-1906) I have the receipt from her funeral but the cemetery is not shown.
My great grandmother Clementine married Henry Storz in St Nicholas NYC in 1879 and they moved to Lindenhurst (Breslau)
Other than Clementine the family stayed in Huntington.
I have had no luck with St Patrick's Cemetery regarding Fredrich or any of his wives. The 3 men are buried in Huntington Rural or St Patrick's
I am looking for any information on Fredrich and any of his wives.

Also, the Glen Cove Library has an index to Obituaries (names, date of obit etc.) that you can search and then request for $5.00.  I’ve received many from the very helpful Librarians there... all via email within a few days of requesting.
