Help with interpreting word in death record written in Old German in 1868

Witte ancestry
After posting my other post I realised that the image was too small, so trying again.
I am unable to decipher or interpret the word in these two death records, preceding the name Ferdinand Witt (the father). It is repeated in front of his name in the baptism records of 6 of his children, however, in the first two children's baptism records, it has the word "Muller"/miller in front, so presume this word is also an occupation.
Any help greatly appreciated, as I don't speak German.

The word in question is Försters, or Förster with a final s in the grammatical context of this sentence. A forester was a man who managed the forests for one or more villages. Responsibilities included planting, harvesting, and wildlife management.

Thank you so much Bob. I am very grateful. We've been stumped on that one for ages.
