Help needed - locating Waldinger ancestors in 1800's Germany

Hello,

I am a non-German speaker and have run into a dead end in tracking my German heritage back into Germany. My great-grandfather, Peter Carl Waldinger, was born 1 OCT 1875 in Barmen, GER to parents Johann Peter Waldinger and Emma Hilgers. I have been unable to locate anything further on Johann Peter or Emma Hilgers. Is anyone able to help?
